President Obama, soon to be the first African - American president, will also soon be the first american president to approve the use of stem cell treatments. This as you know was obstructed for many years by the Bush administration. This will obviously be welcomed by stem cell researchers such as Tissu as our efforts to date have been thwarted. We have been treated like pariah’s as we have had to operate in countries, which have had a tolerant attitude such as the Seychelles. This was the first country in the world to legalise stem cell treatments on account of the weight of evidence that stem cell treatments benefit patients including American patients, who have had to travel to clinics such as ours in the Seychelles. We are now discussing the possibilities of opening similar stem cell treatment clinics in the US and Canada.
The next few years will, as a result of change in the US administration, result in the exponential advances in stem cell treatments. Given the other crises in the US this may well represent President Obama’s greatest legacy.
